How to Rock Overalls This Winter
Brrrrrrrrrr it's freezing in NYC! The snowstorm is causing me to stay indoors and become a a sluggish, hibernating bear. How's the weather where you live? I hope it's warmer than NYC! I feel like the freezing temperature has forced this LA girl to become a layering master, haha.
In today's look I styled one of my favorites: the overall! I love overalls so much that I've already styled it several times on Annchovie, which you can see here, and here. While I normally associate overalls with warmer weather, I used this opportunity to show you how to rock overalls this winter. It's all about adding cozy accessories, and layering warm jackets.
I worked all the elements in my outfit around these amazing overalls that I got from Le Tote's clothing subscription service. I've never used a clothing subscription service before, but this is such a fun way to rent trendy clothes and accessories, and keep the items I love and want to keep. The cute crossbody bag is also from there!
I wanted to keep most of the elements in my outfit bright and white, and so I wore this fluffy sweater from H&M, with a chunky knit beanie and scarf from I Love Mr. Mittens. I am absolutely in love with this Australian label's line of chunky knit accessories, sweaters, and cardigans. The oversized, and chunky look is absolutely adorable, not to mention super warm and cozy!
To match the brown leather elements in the bag, I wore these amazing Cavanagh Pointy Toe Booties from Nine West. Over all this I wore this super cozy faux shearling aviator jacket from ASOS that I got during their Black Friday sale. It's entirely lined with faux fur on the interior making it extra warm and soft to the touch. Talk about polar bear vibes. I love this jacket!
