I've always admired the effortless, chic cool that Parisian girls seem to pull off with ease. It's the sense of confidence they emanate without the need to try too hard. The Paris style code is all about simple and timeless quality pieces, a penchant towards neutrals, minimal makeup, and a no fuss mentality. It's a code that proves that less can be more.
In this outfit I put together a Paris-inspired look with some twists. I styled the iconic black and white Breton stripes of Parisian outfits with high-waisted shorts, minimal makeup and accessories. But rather than going full monochrome from head to toe, I added a pop of color in my high-waisted shorts, and rather than a pair of ballerina flats, put on some high-heeled sandals. It's a look that is casual yet chic, and perfect for any outing.
