Easter Pastels
Easter is just around the corner, and the holiday of chocolate bunnies, Peeps marshmallow chicks, and colorful eggs remind me that Spring is really here. Whether you're celebrating the holiday or not, the beautiful pastel colors that are reminiscent of Easter really seem to shoo away the drab winter. I took inspiration from this soft color palette to come up with a bright and happy look for Spring.
When I found this mural by graffiti artist Risk in Santa Monica, I just KNEW I had to do a shoot there. The rainbow of pastels is a match made in heaven with my outfit!
I paired a baby pink crop top with white jeans from AG Jeans. The top is by Nasty Gal and is cropped at the front and tails down at the back with large pleats. I love when there's a surprise or wow factor in what I wear, whether that be a backless dress, asymmetric details, or even multi-colored buttons. The top is so sculptural, it really elevates this casual look. I jazzed up the top with a statement necklace by Baublebar and delicate lace flats from H&M. I feel like such a princess with these flats on.
