HOW TO WEAR OVERSIZED CARDIGANS THIS WINTER
Hello loves! December is flying by so fast I feel like I can't keep up! Anyone feel the same? Christmas is just around the corner and I feel like I have a million and one things left to do in preparation! But with all the busy buzz in the air, I'm really loving the holiday atmosphere as Christmas is definitely my fav holiday.
The chilly temperature has come to stay for the season, and I wanted to post about one of my favorite items: the oversized cardigan. They're like a jacket that hugs you. It's such a closet staple and more versatile than sweaters IMO because of the easy layering on and off. While fitted cardigans can give off a very conservative or preppy vibe, long, oversized cardigans are the cozy and comfier alternative of the long jacket. They're easy to layer on top of a dress or a fitted tee and denim, or as an extra layer with your big winter jacket. Either way, they're a must in your wardrobe.
I styled my oversized cardigan from The Kinsley Shop with a vintage, pin tuck blouse I've had for ages. I love styling cardigans with my favorite pair of denim, which in this case is this high-waisted one from Stylenanda. I tend to match accessories such as shoes, bag, and belts in the same color, in this case brown. Love the large envelope clutch when you're in the mood for something more minimal and easy to carry than a large bag. I Topped off the look (pun intended) with my favorite wide brim hat also from Stylenanda.
