School Vibes
This past September I finished graduate school (yay!) and while I don't miss homework on the weekends, nor the endless projects and exams, I do feel a bit nostalgic about never being a student again. I've made dear friends over the years and owe it to them and family that I was able to graduate summa cum laude (shameless self-PR, because there is nothing wrong with being proud of your hard-earned accomplishments).
As a last hurrah from school, I went to my UCLA campus and wore a school uniform inspired outfit. I've been through both public and private schooling that never required uniforms, and felt like this would be an opportunity to channel that Hogwarts student vibe. My wool sweater shirt is thrifted and the wool skirt is a vintage find from Hell's Kitchen Flea Market. I paired the look with ankle booties I got from a boutique in Seoul, and a leather bag from Fossil. I completed the outfit with a beret and fishtail braids to pull the look together. It's a perfect fall-inspired look for whenever you step on campus. If only dressing this way would actually make us study harder. ;)
